The Lumatek Turrican is a high-quality 1m wide parabolic reflector that offers excellent light dispersion and enhanced ventilation.
The Turrican is made from highly-reflective Miro 4 aluminium. Miro 4 is renowned for its excellent reflective qualities and generally provides 95% reflectivity. The Miro 4 aluminium and other major components in the Lumatek Turrican are all sourced from Germany to ensure the highest quality materials have gone into the making of this reflector.
As with other parabolic reflectors, the Lumatek Turrican hangs grow lamps vertically, allowing you to place your shade closer to the canopy and make the most of reflection for the walls of grow tents, and smaller grow rooms. As any parabolic owner knows, the design and shape of these reflectors ensures an excellent dispersal of light and much better heat control when compared to traditional horizontal reflectors.
All of our grow light kits are supplied with Sunmaster Dual Spectrum Lamps as standard - other ballast & lamp combinations are available on request.

No, the reflector comes flat packed and unassembled but is easy to put together and full set-up instructions are included in the box. Please note that the reflective Miro 4 aluminium panels have sharp edges and both us and Lumatek recommend wearing gloves whilst assembling as a safety precaution. All safety instructions are included in the box too. Will the Lumatek Turrican fit in a grow tent with a 1m x 1m footprint?
This is one of our most popular questions and one of the trickiest ones to answer. It is possible to put a 1m parabolic reflector in a 1m x 1m grow. However, it can be a tight squeeze and if you do decide to put the Lumatek Turrican in a tent of this size then you’ll need a tent that is 2m in height to avoid problems with air flow and accommodating ventilation equipment.
