RIP Charlie’s Hydro
It is always a sad day for the hydroponics industry when a well-established retailer closes the doors of their business and, as you may or may not be aware, Charlie’s Hydro, a leading eBay hydroponics retailer, has recently gone into liquidation.
What does this mean for existing Charlie’s Hydro customers?
Whilst a lot of customers will obviously be a bit worried about warranties on products that they purchased from Charlies in the last year or so, with regards to anything that came from Maxigrow there is no need to stress.
We have been in contact with Maxigrow and come to an arranagement whereby Greens will honour any product warranty that a customer may have on one of their Maxigrow products brought from Charlie’s Hydro.
What products does this include?
Under our agreement with Maxigrow, we are able to help customers who have an in date product warranty on the following products brought from Charlie’s Hydro:
- Sunmaster Grow Lamps
- Venture Grow Lamps
- Maxibright Reflectors
- Maxiswitch Standard and Pro Control Units
- Digilight Standard, Pro, Pro Select, Pro Max 400V
- Maxibright T5 grow lights
- Maxibright Magnetic Ballasts
How do I replace a product that is still under warranty?

Our team will be able to help guide you through the process and arrange for a replacement item to be sent to you as soon as possible.
