The AquaFarm and WaterFarm are versatile hydroponic systems, used in nurseries, grow rooms or greenhouses, for mother plants and tropical plants, or in the house for decorative or culinary plants of all sizes.
Plants are grown within a chamber filled with clay pebbles. The growing chamber is suspended above a reservoir filled with nutrient-enriched water. An air pump drives the nutrient solution up through the central column to the drip ring where it is dispersed over the clay pebbles. The technique infuses the nutrient solution with oxygen which constantly passes over the root system, stimulating plant growth.
The AquaFarm measures L = 45.5 cm, W = 45.5 cm, H = 43 cm and holds 15l of growing medium. The capacity of the reservoir is 35l but usuable volume is 18l.
The WaterFarm measures L = 30.5 cm, W = 30.5 cm, H = 37 cm and holds 8l of growing medium. The capacity of the reservoir is 12l but the usable volume is 8l.
Each system holds 1 to 4 plants, depending on the plant size but for best results use one plant per system.
